If you are planning your wedding in Italy the first thing to do is to choose the right kind of ceremony. We arrange civil and religious weddings in Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Certaldo, in the Chianti region, Lucca, Pienza, Montepulciano, Cortona and on the coast such as in Portofino and Pietrasanta.
Whatever your religion (Roman Catholic, Protestant, Anglican, Episcopal or Jewish) we will arrange your ceremony and provide an English speaking priest.
CIVIL CEREMONIESCivil weddings are celebrated at town halls which are usually ancient historic palaces located in the most beautiful squares of the Italian cities or small country towns. The civil ceremony is about 20 minutes, is performed by the mayor or the local Registrar in Italian while an interpreter translates it simultaneously. At the end of the service the couple and the witnesses must sign the act of marriage and are given several copies of the wedding certificate which has legal validity throughout the world. We inform you that weddings are celebrated on fixed days and times and a registry fee is often required in the most beautiful town halls. A minimum stay of 2-3 days prior to the wedding day is required to finalize the paperwork at the local offices. |

You do not need to provide any papers. We will select the ceremony venue responding to your ideas and then design the ceremony setting the way you are dreaming of. If you choose to stay with your families and friends we recommend your accommodation as the perfect setting for a dream wedding. |
